As the national governing body for the sport in Wales, this partnership underscores our shared commitment to growing basketball throughout the country.
This collaboration represents a significant milestone in the rapid growth of Welsh basketball and positions Basketball Wales as the first UK basketball organisation to break away from tradition by introducing Net World Sports’ newly developed FORZA basketballs throughout their structure.
The cornerstone of this partnership is the meticulously designed, tested, and developed FORZA basketball. Working collaboratively with Basketball Wales national team players, coaches, and staff, the development process for the FORZA Pro Indoor Game Ball involved multiple iterations and thorough testing. The invaluable expertise of the Basketball Wales community has played a crucial role in this journey, with feedback on each ball’s strengths and weaknesses being thoroughly analysed by our in-house product team. Our team were able to fine-tune the design, materials, and performance of the ball, resulting in a top-quality basketball that is set to elevate the game and player experience across Wales, and beyond. Under this partnership, Net World Sports will supply FORZA basketballs to the entire Basketball Wales community, including national squads, national league teams, development teams, schools, and affiliated clubs. The aim is to elevate the sport at all levels, promoting growth and enhance the playing experience across all levels of the sport. The partnership also includes further Basketball Wales NGB member and club benefits, including discounts, collaboration in major future events and access to future basketball innovative products.
