FORZA Football Goals are the latest transfer addition to Newcastle United’s St. James Park Stadium and Darsley Park Training Centre.
Since the well documented takeover in 2021 by PIF, PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media, the club has been heavily investing capital to improve the club.
In partnership with Origin Amenity we are extremely proud to have been selected by Newcastle United to supply a range of brand-new goals to the club.
With the guidance of Stadium Groundsman Andrew Tully, FORZA Stadium Goals have been installed by our in-house team of sports engineers at the club’s world-famous stadium – St. James’ Park.
Recently upgraded, these FIFA Spec Stadium Goals meet the strict millimetre dimension regulations set by the Premier League that are tested & verified by Hawk Eye. The goals have special features to ensure the goals are easy to set up and put away after matches and to ensure the goals have that perfect box-shaped net goal after goal.
We have also recently supplied Newcastle United’s training ground (Darsley Park) with 5 pairs of FORZA Freestanding Box Goals with 360° Goal Wheels and custom-made Black/White Striped Box Nets, representing the iconic Newcastle United colours.
Mick Curran (Head Groundsman) and his team praised our install team on “how much easier it is to move the goals” comparing them to their previous older goals on site with fixed lever wheels. The goals are always being moved across the pitches by the coaches during training and moved off the pitches by the grounds team so they can treat and mow the pitches.
Net World Sports was the first company in the world to launch a lever type 360° goal wheel which we first developed with Manchester United and launched at the Saltex grounds turf exhibition. We continue to improve this wheel making it stronger and easier to use, using the feedback given by the world’s best groundsmen including Joe Pemberton (Manchester United), Graeme Mills (Southampton FC), Ian Lucas (AFC Bournemouth) and Dylan Thompson (formerly FA Wales) to name but a few.
In 2023 will be launching a new innovative goal that will change the industry just like our 360° wheels. Watch this space!
