On Sunday 12th March, members of the Net World Sports team took part in the MBNA Chester 10k. This race, hosted in the nearby city of Chester, is the best City Centre 10k in the North West and is a great introductory race for new runners and an ideal stepping stone for runners aiming for a half marathon in the future.

The team ran to raise money for Hope House Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices, a charity that Net World Sports are long term fundraisers and Silver Champions Medal holders for. The charity cares for children and young adults who have life-threatening conditions and are not expected to live beyond 25 years of age. This incredible charity offers a lifeline for families living in Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid and North Wales through providing bespoke care, counselling, and bereavement support.

The Net World Sports participants included avid runners who beat some of their personal bests, along with beginners who’d been training hard leading up to their first 10k. We’re hugely proud of the team and their fundraising efforts.
