Net World Sports are thrilled to be the Official Tournament Partner for this year’s Corporate 5-a-side event, hosted by partners Wrexham AFC. We welcomed Wrexham AFC representatives, including Manager Phil Parkinson, to our new HQ to draw the four five-team groups for the tournament in May which will take place at the Racecourse Ground.
With 20 local businesses signed up, the event will open with a round-robin tournament, with four groups of five teams, who are each guaranteed at least an hour of football on the day. A donation from the tournament proceeds will be made to the Wrexham AFC Community Trust, to aid in the delivery of community projects.
“It was great to see so many representatives of the teams involved come to watch the draw at Net World Sports today.
“The aim of the event is to bring the business community together, and this was a small taster of what we have to look forward to in the summer.
“Some of the team rivalries have already begun, and we know the competition will be a great occasion and well-contested.
“I’m looking forward to seeing everybody again on May 12, and welcoming the businesses to the Racecourse Ground.”
