We recently collaborated with MAINS London, an upcoming fashion brand owned by British grime MC, Skepta, ahead of its London Fashion Week show debut.
For its inaugural show, the designer opted for a ‘tennis’ theme where upon arrival, attendees were greeted with tickets that replicated tennis court passes, models walked down a catwalk made from astroturf, and a show background soundtrack of tournament noises.
To fully realise the tennis-themed setting, the brand reached out to Net World Sports to enquire about our Vermont tennis range, and the potential of customising equipment for the show. After discussing their visions, aims, and requirements, Net World Sports were thrilled to be able to collaboratively work with the brand on designing and supplying equipment for the show.
We provided custom tennis rackets and bags in two different colourways, branded with the MAINS London logo on both the handle and the string. The rackets were used as props by the models as they served up looks during their walk.
Sitting centre stage throughout the show and being used as a guide for the models as they took to the catwalk was one of our Vermont Tennis Post & Net systems.
We also customised 504 ball tubes which were used as creative guest invitations for the show. Skepta’s star studded guest list included supermodel Naomi Campbell, and fellow grime rapper Stormzy.
