Glamorgan County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a new partnership with FORZA, a brand by Net World Sports, a leading international sports equipment provider based in Wrexham. This collaboration brings together the only Welsh first-class county cricket team and one of the world’s fastest-growing sports retailers to support the development of the game from grassroots to professional levels.
As an Official Partner, FORZA will provide Glamorgan Cricket with its industry-leading FORZA cricket equipment. The partnership will see the early engagement pathway with world-class training aids, including professional-grade mobile cages, and practice nets, ensuring everyone has the best possible preparation tools.
The partnership also extends beyond the professional arena. FORZA and Glamorgan Cricket are committed to growing the game across Wales. Through the partnership, the two organisations will work together to make high-quality cricket equipment more accessible to local clubs and schools, fostering the next generation of Welsh cricketing talent.
Mark Wallace, Director of Cricket at Glamorgan Cricket, said: “It’s great to be able to link up with Net World Sports to provide us with top-quality training equipment for the next year. Having partners who can support the development of our players is really important to us, and working with a company that brings cross-sport experience like Net World Sports is a huge benefit to our team.”
David Lloyd, Cricket Development Executive at Net World Sports, added: “FORZA is incredibly proud to partner with Glamorgan Cricket. We have always been passionate about supporting Welsh sport, and Glamorgan is a historic institution that represents the pinnacle of cricket in Wales. We look forward to seeing our FORZA equipment in action at Sophia Gardens and working closely with the club to inspire more people to pick up a bat and ball.”
The partnership will also feature prominent brand visibility for FORZA at Sophia Gardens during the County Championship, One-Day Cup, and Vitality Blast matches, reaching thousands of fans in-stadium and via national broadcast coverage.
