FORZA, a brand by Net World Sports, a leading international sports equipment designer and manufacturer, and Brymbo Cricket Club, one of North Wales’ most prestigious cricket institutions, are proud to announce a new official partnership aimed at supporting grassroots cricket and enhancing facilities at the Tanyfron Sports Ground.
The collaboration brings together two Wrexham-based powerhouses. FORZA, headquartered on the Wrexham Industrial Estate, is a global leader in sporting goods, while Brymbo Cricket Club has been a cornerstone of the local sporting community since 1888.
As part of the agreement, FORZA will become an official equipment partner for the club. Brymbo CC will benefit from the brands elite-level cricket range. The partnership will provide high-quality training aids, ground equipment, and match-day essentials to support the club’s senior teams and its thriving junior section, which caters to players aged 10 to 17.
Damon Traverse, Marketing Manager at Net World Sports, commented: “As a business built in Wrexham, we are deeply committed to supporting the local sporting community. Brymbo Cricket Club has a fantastic history and shares our passion for excellence and youth development. We are delighted to see our equipment being used just a few miles from our headquarters to help the next generation of cricketers reach their potential.”
The announcement comes at an exciting time for “The Steelmen.” With the recent return of former Glamorgan and Derbyshire captain David Lloyd to his boyhood club, and the first team pushing for North Wales Premier League glory, the addition of world-class equipment provides a significant boost to the club’s ambitions.
Jason Underwood, Chairman of Brymbo Cricket Club, added: “ “We are absolutely delighted to announce our new partnership with Net World Sports. As two organisations proudly based in Wrexham, this collaboration represents a fantastic opportunity to strengthen local sport and support the continued growth of cricket within our community.
“Net World Sports has built an outstanding reputation as a leading sports equipment provider, and to be working together as fellow Wrexham organisations makes this partnership even more special. Their commitment to quality and innovation aligns perfectly with our ambitions at Brymbo Cricket Club as we continue to develop our facilities and support players of all ages.
“I would also like to place on record our sincere thanks to David Lloyd, who has been instrumental in forging this partnership. His support, guidance and belief in what we are building at Brymbo Cricket Club has been invaluable.”
We look forward to building a strong and lasting relationship with Net World Sports and achieving great things together for cricket in Wrexham and North Wales.”
The partnership reinforces both organisations’ commitment to the Wrexham area, following FORZA’ recent landmark investments in the region and Brymbo CC’s ongoing efforts to create a fully inclusive community hub.
